MCP and API
Built for humans. Ready for automation.
Use the installable web interface, script the CLI or the REST/SSE API, connect media clients through compatibility adapters, or give an MCP client access.
Give your MCP client a download queue
Built-in tools reach the queue, LinkGrabber, logs and settings, with the same permissions as the REST API, and no tool ever hands out a secret.
Integrate against a documented contract
JSON endpoints under /api/v1, an OpenAPI document for generated clients, live changes through Server-Sent Events and a remote CLI for scripts.
Connect media automation without replacing the native API
SABnzbd and BitTorrent compatibility connects Sonarr, Radarr and similar tools; an aria2 adapter, off by default, serves AriaNg.
Monitoring
Watch it from your own Grafana.
rDownloader exposes queue, transfers, providers and free space at /api/v1/metrics. A metrics token reaches that one route and nothing else.

Scrape it with Prometheus
Every figure comes from the database at scrape time, so counters survive restarts. Labels never hold a URL, file name or user name.
Import the ready dashboard
A ready Grafana dashboard ships with the repository: queue, throughput, retries, wait times and free space, for one or several installations.
